The One Week’s Itinerary to Travel in Australia

Travelling to Australia is a very memorable experience. The country has so many historic and cultural tourist attraction sites. Here is one week’s itinerary for Australia.

Day 1

After arriving in Sydney, you can check into your hotel and rest while recovering from jetlag. If you arrive early, go to Circular Quay and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Afterwards, stroll to the Sydney Opera House and enjoy the beautiful performances. Finish the day with a dish of fish and chips and rest.

Day 2

Begin the day by riding to the top of Sydney Tower and experience Skywalk. Skywalk is 260m high and is one of the highest attraction sites in Sydney. From the glass-floored viewing platform, you can see all of the best landmarks, such as Sydney Opera House, the Blue Mountains and the Sydney Harbour. To see Australia’s wildlife, visit Sydney Aquarium or the Taronga Zoo.

Day 3

Explore the beauty of the Blue Mountains, which is two hours away from Sydney, by taking a train from Central Station to Katoomba. After arriving, hop on to the Blue Mountains Explorer bus and explore interesting areas such as the Three Sister rock formations. Also visit Scenic World, ride the world’s steepest railway, and explore the valley filled with ancient rainforests before returning on a cable car. Return to Sydney and finish the day with delicious food and a great view of the Harbour.

Day 4

Take a flight to Cairns and check into a hotel. You can see wildlife at the Cairns Wildlife Dome. Visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and learn about their culture and ways of life.

Day 5

Visit the Great Barrier Reef from the Reef Fleet Terminal, a 2-hour trip. You will be on a pontoon with approximately 300 people. You can enjoy snorkelling, riding glass-bottom boats and soaking up the sun. You can fly back to Cairns the next day.

Day 6

Since you cannot fly for 24 hours after diving, you can play interesting games on the best AU online casino site to jog your mind before the long day ahead. Afterwards, take a trip to Kuranda via the Kuranda Scenic Railway which passes through gorges and waterfalls. In Kuranda, explore nature parks and markets. Go on a Kuranda Riverboat Tour and return to Cairns via a Sky rail cableway that passes over rainforests and sensational views.

Day 7

Have dinner at a restaurant that overlooks the harbour, with the magnificent Opera House and bridge illuminated. Get a flight back to Sydney.

Australia has so many interesting places to explore. One week may not be enough for you to explore the many great spots, but it is enough for you to create memories of a lifetime. You can immerse yourself in their culture, enjoy their cuisine and visit the places that time will allow.
