The best surfing beaches in Australia

  • Written by NewsServices.com

Australia is widely known in the world as a country to go to when you want to live a tropical life. There are tons of beaches you can explore to either swim or surf. In this article, we scoured all the beaches in the country to narrow them down to seven (7) best surfing beaches in Australia.

Crescent Head

First on our list is called the Crescent Head beach in New South Wales. The coastline in this surfing beach is 25 meters or roughly 15.51 miles. The waves are perfect not just for beginners but also for amateur and professional surfers. And because of its beauty, a lot of movies are filmed here like Hang Ten (2001).

Gold Coast

Located in Queensland is the Gold Coast. This is one of the best tourist destinations, in general, to go to when you want to take a splash or surf your heart out. The surfers, especially those who love big waves, will love the ambiance here.

Manly Beach

One of the beaches in the Northern Beaches in New South Wales is Manly Beach. Unlike its name suggests, all genders are welcome here and they will all enjoy the view and the cold ocean breeze. The length of the beach is only 20 kilometers or 7.5 miles.

The Pass at Byron Bay

This beach has one of the best waves in the country and the people here are very accommodating as well. There are tons of activities that you can do in the waters of The Pass aside from surfing. But, you should try riding longboards first and I’m sure that you will love them so much.

Noosa Heads

One of the most photogenic surfing beaches in Queensland is Noosa Heads. If you are looking for long rides on top of the waves, this is the beach to go to. When you are already used to riding the waves here, you can ride up to 200 meters.

Prevelly Bay

Another beach best for surfers (beginners and professionals) is Prevelly Bay. This place hosts tons of surfing competitions because of the waves that reach 6 meters when you take the right timing. Another thing that is so interesting here is that surfers are required to wear helmets unlike in any other surfing beaches in the world.

Treachery Beach

Last on our list is Treachery Beach. First, the view here is spectacular and all kinds of surfers are welcome here.

After a long day at the beach with family and friends, you can always relax at your hotel room or Airbnb and entertain yourself by playing online casino games. Even if you are new to this, there are lots of websites giving casino advice to newbies.

Whether you are a beginner or a professional in the world of surfing, Australia has the beach that is right for you. Gear up and practice your stance because the country is ready for you to conquer its waves.
